Problems on my 66 lincoln continental. The core support is rusted out on the passenger side under battery tray

It a project car my I've been working on for years and now another problem. The core support is eaten up really bad on the right hand side. I have two and the same goes for my PARTS car. Can somebody please tell me some one still makes crap like that? I can't find a junk yard close to Austin that has older cars.

In fact they do. Look for a place that specializes in parts for restoration of old cars.
Some resources for you. ( I know its JC Junkyard but you can find a lot of stuff there for old cars.)

a 66 linky …..if this tank is in half the shape I'am thinking of then your a lucky fellow…..not manny of these babys around and as time moves on thell be less…..I had a 69…did a ground up on it….I was able to get a lot of replacement parts thru ( Honest Charlies ) out of seattle wash. don't know if there still up and running ……..but just go online I'am sure youll find vehical restorations ( classics) somewhere close to you …..and who cares if it's not OME. ……Get that linky tank up and on the road ….Daryl in canada.
